The arm and thigh area, which is one of the areas that need the most attention in stretching surgeries, are areas that are open to deformation due to the difference in connective tissue, especially in women. When factors that affect the tissue as sagging, such as weight gain and loss in a short time, are added to these sensitive tissues, surgical intervention of the tissue may be required. Especially since the arms are visible, it is more difficult to hide the suture scars completely than the thigh area. Many patients prefer suture scars instead of carrying the sagging tissue, and in the postoperative period, we can eliminate the scars to a great extent with applications such as fractional laser and prp that we apply in our clinic.
Arm and Thigh Stretching Surgery

When these sensitive tissues are added to the factors that affect the tissue as sagging, such as weight gain and loss in a short time, surgical intervention of the tissue may be required. Especially since the arms are visible, it is more difficult to hide the stitch marks completely than the thigh area. Many patients prefer stitch marks instead of carrying the sagging tissue, and we can eliminate the scars to a great extent with applications such as fractional laser, prp, which we apply in our clinic in the postoperative period.
We can perform arm and thigh stretching after removing the fat in the area, we can only perform stretching surgery.
The excess skin and subcutaneous tissues in the patient need to be recovered and tightened. For this purpose, arm lift and thigh lift surgeries can be performed individually or in combination. In overweight patients, if weight loss is ongoing, weight loss should be finished, stable and you should have reached your ideal body weight before the procedure. Performing the surgery in the early period may cause sagging to reappear due to ongoing weight loss.
In thigh lift, the sagging skin and subcutaneous tissue between the groin and knee are removed by surgery. With this procedure, both excess tissues are removed and the thigh is reshaped. Liposuction is often part of the surgery as a supportive element in these operations.
In arm lift surgery, an elliptical incision is made in the inner and posterior part of the arm (in the sagging area) and the sagging skin and excess fat tissue are excised. In the same session, liposuction is performed on other parts of the arm if necessary. The incision site is sutured internally in two layers, the arm is wrapped with a soft dressing at the end of the operation and the patient can go home approximately 3-4 hours after the procedure. Brachioplasty can be performed alone or in combination with other body contour correction surgeries (tummy tuck, breast reduction or augmentation and leg lift). The patient wears a special arm corset for three weeks. The patient is asked to restrict arm movements for a week. The patient is advised to keep his/her arms high and there is no special attention required.

The postoperative rest period is important. Because the operated thigh area is the groin area where walking and sitting activities are performed, long walks and wear should not be done. This is especially important in the first 2 weeks after surgery. Painkillers will be sufficient for possible pain. In addition to these, the doctor’s recommendations should be followed.
