Points to Consider Before and After the Operation
- It is recommended to stay away from the sea and pool for the first 20 days.
- It is recommended to stay away from right-angled sunlight for the first 5 days of the operation.
- Mild brisk walking is recommended for 1 week for our patients who do sports. Especially weight training patients can start sports after 1 month.
- Glasses and sunglasses should be used after the 3rd month.
- 1 month should be protected against impacts
- 1-3 days should sleep on the back at a 45-degree angle and with a high pillow, so swelling and bruises will decrease.
- The use of blood thinners and vitamins should be discontinued for 2 weeks before and after the operation.
- Alcohol and smoking are also recommended not to be used for 2 weeks before and after this operation.
- Never to eat 1 night before and after half the night before the operation. The reason is that the stomach should be empty to avoid any complications.
