What is Lip Aesthetics?

There are many kinds of aesthetic operations performed in order to have a beautiful appearance. One of them is the lips where women are most sensitive. While most of the women want to have plump lips, some of them complain about the thickness of their lips. Today, whether it is lip thickening or lip thinning operations, it has become one of the easiest and most frequently performed operations. The most commonly used method in lip aesthetics performed recently is the method performed with lip extensions. While patients receive information about lip aesthetics, it is one of the leading aesthetic interventions among the preferences because it is both a very short procedure and an easy method. The lip structures of some women may be thin or the amount of fat tissue in the lip decreases with the reasons given by the years, that is, aging. For these reasons, thinning of the lips occurs. This problem can be eliminated with lip thickening operation. In the lip thinning operation, it is the procedure applied to reduce the lips that are too thick. The red-coloured part of the thick lip, that is, the mucosa, is removed together with the fat tissues in the form of an ellipse and the area where the operation is performed is sutured with a suitable work. Local anaesthesia is applied in this operation. Therefore, the procedure is completed without the patient feeling any pain or pain. Swelling occurs in the lip at the end of the operation, but these swellings heal in 8 to 10 days. Swelling on the lip should not be feared in any way.

Methods Used in Lip Aesthetics

Surgical methods and non-surgical methods are used in lip aesthetics. Non-surgical methods are more preferred because we all agree that we all love beauty, but we all want easy access. Therefore, people use non-surgical methods more often instead of surgical methods. While non-surgical methods are applied for lips that do not require surgical methods, operations requiring surgical stage are performed for lips that require surgical stage.

There are fillers used in lip aesthetics. These fillers are injected into the lip and provide filling. A fat tissue is taken from the patient’s own body and the lip is filled in that way. Our lips have a certain muscle tissue and the fullness of the lips is achieved by injecting fat into that muscle tissue. As we all know, people may have to undergo surgery in case of adverse health conditions. People who have lip cancer also apply for lip aesthetic surgery in terms of health as well as beauty. There are many methods to thicken the lips and plump them by correcting wrinkles. Foreign fillers are just one of these methods. Fillers such as liquid silicone, silicone oil are used as foreign fillers. In temporary filling materials, the desired beauty is achieved, but after 4/5 months, the fillings do not remain as before and start to create the need to be done again. For this reason, temporary filling does not seem very healthy. We generally prefer this method because we want it to be a permanent aesthetic, not temporary. This method is a very necessary method in matters that require more fullness. There is also the Lip Hanging method. If this method is done, the aesthetic procedure is performed without any trace on the lip. This method is a very effective method and is among the recommended methods.
