What is lip augmentation and how is it applied?

Lip filling can be applied to people who have problems with lip appearance. People who want their lips to look fuller and who think that they do not have a proportional appearance can have lip augmentation.

When performing lip augmentation, it is possible to achieve very positive results if attention is paid to the golden ratio on the face. The recommended minimum age of lip augmentation is 18. This method, which is especially applied to people whose upper lips are skinnier than their lower lips, allows people to have fuller lips.

There are many types of fillers applied to the lips and around the mouth, but the most common of these is the injection of hyaluronic acid. Hyaluronic acid is a natural substance normally found in our body. By injecting this substance into your lips, your lips will have the plump appearance you want.

Before lip filling is performed, the area to be applied is cleaned in detail and anaesthetic cream is applied to the lip area before filling. Afterwards, filler injection is performed. The application takes an average of 20-25 minutes. After this procedure, the time we recommend for the next injection is 6-9 months. With this procedure, you can increase the volume of your lips and shape your lip corners. You can easily continue your normal life after the application.

You can notice the change in a very short time after your lip augmentation. There may be slight swelling and redness after some applications. After the application, cosmetic products should not be applied on the lips and hot drinks should not be consumed.

Will there be pain during lip augmentation?

You will not feel pain thanks to the cream applied to your lips before starting the lip augmentation application. In this respect, applications are much more comfortable.

Are lip fillers permanent?

Lip fillers are not permanent. Hyaluronic acid, which is a lip filler, is a natural substance and melts away from the body over time. This period is approximately 4-6 months. The lip augmentation procedure should be reapplied after the visible reduction of the fillings.
The fusible nature of the lip augmentation also allows new arrangements to be made on request.
